Marisa Zanuck may no longer be a Beverly Hills housewife… but she couldn’t be happier about moving out of the zip code.
She tells Celebuzz why she couldn’t take the catfighting and her reality TV comeback.
“Housewives just wasn’t for me. I’m not that type of woman,” Zanuck told CB!
“I’m not one of those kind of girls. I’m not trying to hurt anyone and bring you down. I think women need women and when women start attacking each other, it’s all down hill from there.”
Earlier this year, Zanuck (wife of producer Dean Zanuck) confirmed to us that she wasn’t asked to return for a second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and ever since her departure she admits you won’t ever catch her watching the on-camera drama she left behind.
“Being on the show killed it for me,” she said. “It was closure.”
Since saying goodbye, Zanuck has continued her real estate career and made a few cameos on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, a role which could very well make her the first permanent female face of the hit Bravo franchise next season.
“There is something in the works for me to be part of the cast,” she said, keeping mum on the details… for now.
That’s because she’s joined forces with CB!’s very own Ryan Serhant, star of Million Dollar Listing New York, to open a Beverly Hills brokerage firm — and this time it’s her name above the door.
Nestseekers/Zanuck International opened in November: “Focusing on real estate is my No. 1 priority,” she said. “Housewives captured social events and catfights. Real estate is what I do in real life.”
